Birch, Frederick William was born on 03/03/1869, and attended the School from 1882-1885. He served as a Major in the Army, with the South Wales Borderers 4th Bn.. Birch sadly lost his life on 17/04/1916, as a result of the War.
Birch is remembered on Basra Memorial, Iraq, panels 16 and 62.
