Birch, Frederick William
Born in United Provinces India. Son of the late Major Henry Holwell Birch and Sarah Henriette Birch, widow, of 32 Fernbank Road, Redland. Husband of Mary Dorothea, of High Beech Park Road, Parkstone, Poole, Dorset, England..
Birch, Frederick William was born on 03/03/1869, and attended the School from 1882-1885. He served as a Major in the Army, with the South Wales Borderers 4th Bn.. Birch sadly lost his life on 17/04/1916, as a result of the War.
Birch is remembered on Basra Memorial, Iraq, panels 16 and 62.
