A Favourite with All (BGS Chronicle December 1916)

"aged 22, 1904-1909. He left from the Third and went to Epsom College. His frank sound nature made him a favourite with all: he made friends everywhere. Though he went on to another school, his five years at the Grammar School meant that there is a large circle of Old Boys who mourn his loss. He was serving as a Second Lieutenant in the Royal Berkshire Regiment when he fell."
