Newton, Frederick William John
Son of John Newton, Post Office clerk, and Thirza Annie, of 11 Queen Square. Younger brother of Francis Henry James, and Elsie Jane. Also older brother of Victor Richard, and Evelyn Annie.
Newton was born on 07/06/1888, and attended the School from 1903 Jan-July. He served as a Driver in the Army, with the Royal Field Artillery "B" Bty. 243rd Bde.. Newton sadly lost his life on 27/07/1916, as a result of the War.
Newton is buried in Puchevillers British Cemetery, France, reference II. B. 16.
Newton was working as a Distillers Clerk before the War.
