Son of Henry Hutton Bourne, Silversmith, and Clara Lucas Bourne, of 82 Addison Way, Golders Green, London. Younger brother of Cecil Balfour, and Edith Mary. Also older brother of John Henry and Christine Mabel.

Bourne was born on 05/10/1897, and attended the School from 1913-1914. He served as a Captain in the RAF, with the Royal Air Force. Bourne sadly lost his life on 06/11/1919, as a result of the War.

Bourne is buried in Grangegorman Military Cemetery, reference CE. Officers. 40.

Bourne died at Baldonnell Aerodrome, following an aero accident.
