Hayes, Christopher Walter
Son of Christopher Albert Hayes, contractor, of Ashley House, Ashley Down Road.
Hayes was born on 16/06/1889, and attended the School from 1901-1905. He served as a Private in the Army, with the Army Service Corps, Mechanical Transport Spare Parts Depot. Hayes sadly lost his life on 17/02/1918, as a result of the War.
Hayes is buried in Dar Es Salaam War Cemetery, Africa, grave reference 4.G.4.
