Lambert, Harry Redcliffe

Son of W Edward Isaac Lambert, oil and color merchant, and Margaret Lambert, of 35 Westbury Park, Henleaze. Younger brother of Charles William, and older brother of Marjorie M and Eric Oliver. Charles William and Eric Oliver both attended BGS, and also served in the War.

 

Lambert was born on 22/07/1893, and attended the School from 1905-1909. He served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army, with the Royal Engineers, South Midland Field Coy., 476th Bn.. Lambert sadly lost his life on 21/03/1917, as a result of the War.

 

Lambert is buried in Assevillers New British Cemetery, France, grave reference, VII. D. 3.
